In this article, the Bali photographer will explore hidden natural attractions in Bali while conducting a pre-wedding photo session with couple Risa and Stepen.

The hidden tour this time is the Tukad Cepung Waterfall tour which is located in Penida Kelod Village, Tembuku District, Bangli Regency, Bali.

This area does not have beaches like other areas which are famous for their beautiful beaches. But who would have thought that this village has a hidden paradise in the form of a very beautiful waterfall.

It’s not surprising that Bali photographers feel enthusiastic and challenged when a couple asks to take their pre-wedding photos at that location.

However, you need to know that before this tourist spot was crowded with visitors, this place was considered a sacred place by local residents and was often a place for ceremonies to cleanse the mind and soul.

If you look at some of the photo points below, maybe you will also feel how mystical this place is, right?

However, even though it seems mystical, this place also has a strong attraction so that visitors’ fear will turn into curiosity after seeing its beauty in the photo below.

Taking pre-wedding photos at this location is also considered very rare for couples who are getting married, so this photo will be a different photo from the others.

The Attraction of Tukad Cepung Waterfall According to Bali Photographer

As a photographer, Bali photographer has his own views regarding the attractiveness of the Tukad Cepung waterfall which can be an interesting spot for taking photos.

The name Tukad Cepung comes from Balinese, which means “Tukad is a river” and “Cepung is a channel”. So Tukad Cepung means river channel.

And the source of the water that flows in this river channel comes from the spring above the cave combined with the bright rays of sunlight that enter the cave.

So, this combination is what attracts tourists to visit and witness the beauty of the waterfall that enters the cave.

In some of the photos below, the Bali photographer also shows that this waterfall is in a canyon flanked by rocky cliffs, so to see it you have to go into the cave first.

What is unique about this Tejun waterfall is its shape which looks like a giant curtain with a height of 15 meters plus sunlight that reflects beautiful light into the dark cave.

And what’s more interesting, the water flow around the Tejun waterfall is not very strong, so here you are allowed to play in the water around the waterfall or along the river flow.

According to Bali photographers, there are three interesting photo spots that you should not miss when visiting Tukad Cepung waterfall, namely:

  • A cave illuminated by the sun

This is the most interesting photo spot and the most sought after by every visitor who comes. Because it first became known from a photo of a waterfall in a cave with sunlight uploaded by one of the visitors.

  • Large rock near the waterfall

Around the waterfall there are large rocks which are usually also photo spots for visitors. According to the Bali photographer, this large rock spot is indeed suitable and very photogenic.

Whether posing while standing looking at the sun or sitting looking at the sky, both are equally interesting for you to try. However, be careful when climbing the rock because the humid air causes the rock to become slippery.

  • At the entrance to the waterfall

Another interesting spot to use as a photo location is the waterfall entrance with the backdrop of the beautiful green Balinese forest. There are many vines attached to the cave walls which are also a special attraction.

You also need to know that when you arrive at the tourist parking location, you still have to walk along the river for about 20 minutes to reach the main point or tourist favorite location.

When walking, besides being able to take photos along the entrance, you can also enjoy the cool, clear water that comes from the spring.

Bali Photographer Preweeding Photo Results

Very lucky because when taking pre-wedding photos there weren’t many tourists, so you could get good photos.
