This time there was something different about the photoshoot carried out by the Bali photographer. Usually they take photos at tourist attractions or accommodation. In this session they took photos at places of worship.
Taking pre-wedding photos at a place of worship sounds quite challenging, because there are several places of worship that prohibit visitors from taking pre-wedding photos.
The reason is usually due to many factors, including the couple not being considered legal for taking intimate photos at a place of worship. Places of worship usually only allow weddings, not pre-wedding events.
However, this time the Bali photographer succeeded in realizing the wishes of the couple who wanted to have their pre-wedding photo session at a place of worship, namely the Satya Dharma Temple.
The Satya Dharma Vihara is a place of worship for Buddhists, Taoists and Confucians, which is located in the Benoa Harbor area on the road to the Bali Mandara Toll Road.
At this monastery, all visitors are allowed to take photos, both domestic and non-domestic tourists, as long as they do not disturb the worship being carried out.
So, this place of worship is deliberately opened to general tourists. For this reason, Bali photographers can do pre-wedding photo shoots at this location.
The Bali photographer also explained that this location is one of the favorite locations because the buildings are very artistic and magnificent, especially when the weather is sunny and at night it looks even more attractive.
The beauty of the Satya Dharma Vihara from the Bali Photographer’s Camera
Before the Bali photographer explains the beauty of the Satya Dharma Vihara, you should know that this monastery is the largest monastery in Bali.
And you need to know that not all points in this monastery can be spots for taking photos, but only a few points, and even then you need permission from the monastery management first.
Getting to the Satya Dharma Vihara Benoa Harbor is not too difficult, you will find it on Jl. Raya Benoa Harbor, Pedungan, South Denpasar.
And it can be reached by crossing the Bali Mandara Toll Road from Nusa Dua, Kuta and Denpasar. Through the toll road, you can experience faster travel.
In the photos below, the Bali photographer captured several interesting photo locations, one of which is the altar building with its artistic beauty.
The Satya Dharma Vihara does not only have one altar, but there are several altars and each altar has a name. Apart from the altar, the interesting thing about the Vihara here is the statue of Goddess Kwan Im.
So, you don’t need to go all the way to China to see the Goddess Kwan Im statue, because now there is this statue in Bali.
The Goddess Kwan Im statue is also an attraction for tourists to capture moments and see the beauty of the statue which has very high artistic value, which is located next to the main temple.
The Bali photographer explained that in this monastery it is not only the inside that is interesting, but you can see from the gate that it looks very oriental, and is very in line with the characteristics of Chinese buildings.
When you step in from the gate, you will see the main temple which looks like a magnificent palace with a design that has very strong characteristics of a temple building.
However, when visiting a monastery, either for worship or just for sightseeing, Bali photographers advise you to always wear polite and neat clothing.
And also make sure that you don’t throw rubbish carelessly or do anything impolite in this place of worship, because if that happens, you may be subject to sanctions in the form of a reprimand.
